the drums would sit further out like 0.5mm tops

im looking at these '02 insight drums and measuring up the clearances...looks like if i modify the insight backing plate to fit the crx spindle/mounting point, bolt it in, and use the original crx hub with the insight drum on it, then everything will just work.  has anyone done this?
