In Topic: Which Rpm's Should I Launch With Nitto Drags

31 January 2005 - 08:33 AM

Thanks for your reply EA-T; I didn’t know that the tires need to be broken in. Maybe that’s why I was getting the same 60ft times similar to what I get with normal street tires. Since the Nitto Drag Radials are brand new.

As for the burn out I was trying to do it on the dry and wet areas with the same results. The problem that I have trying to doing the burnout is that as soon as the car start spins tires and with the emergency brake up, the car still moving sad.gif

Another factor that I think that can affect the 60ft times could be that the car have a S1 non LSD tranny and the right tire is the one that spins the majority of the time when doing the burnout or starting a race.

In Topic: Who Wants A Cf Zc Hood?

ZC Hood ohmy.gif I might be interested. Well that’s depends if they can be shipped to Puerto Rico.
Is the shipping will be $125 to the US. How much will be to PR?

I already have a CF hood on my 91 VTEC Integra and love to have on my CRX especially if it’s ZC OEM Style Hood.

If that were the case, you could have two ecus and make the MSD switch to the other ecu when Vtec was on.  But I think there is some way to do it using the auto transmission's socket that is in the board.

How much is the Zdyne?

I met a guy at the meet with a mini-me. He runs a chipped PM6 with MSD's V-tech controller. All it does is turn on the V-tech solonoid over a certain RPM. I don't think its expensive.
this is an og trick, but it still doesn't change the maps for the vtec.

it does change the maps if you have them set for vtec...its the same thing as the 1-wire VTEC ZDYNE does, just at 1/5th of the cost

find a ps9 ECU and do the same thing as ZDYNE with TurboEdit

I got my ZDYNE for $100 about 2 years ago from my cousin. But its about $320 as posted on ZDYNE website. Thats the Conversion for 1 wire VTEC.
